Comparative Study of Growth and Survival of Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) on Different Feed Types

This study aimed to compare the growth and survival of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) fed with three different feed types: homemade (control), commercial feed, earthworm-enriched feed. A total 135 an average weight 6.2 g length 6.5 cm were stocked in 9 hapas, 15 fish per hapa. The reared for 62 days, performance, rate, conversion ratio (FCR) measured. results showed that final higher than those highest mean gain (18.45 g) (4.7 cm) observed (T3R1). FCR (1.65) was lower other two groups. Moreover, rate 100%, while 93.3% 66.7%, respectively. In conclusion, superior performance terms tilapia. type can be considered as a potential alternative traditional aquaculture industry. Further studies on economic feasibility using earthworm enriched are recommended.
